Government guidance published14 May 2020
As part of the Government roadmap for gradually lifting the current restrictions in England, three sets of targeted guidance have been published which are particularly relevant to our members:
- Working safely in shops
- Working safely in restaurants offering takeaway or delivery
- Safer public places – urban centres and green spaces helping local councils
Revo has recently also released guidance to support the re-opening of shopping centres and retail parks in preparation for the easing of Government enforced lockdown restrictions.
This guidance addresses the key challenges, namely queuing and the psychology of coming into public spaces. Whilst an integrated approach will need to be taken in all our public places, at shopping centres and retail parks, owners and occupiers can work together to actively manage movement and create safe places to be.
